My Current Wish List (April 2019)

Hello beginners and welcome to another rambling blog written by me!

This post is exactly what it says in the title, me talking about things I either want, need to replace or would like to have. I'm currently on a low buy while I try to save money so I'm really only buying things I can consider essentials. Now I know what you're thinking, is makeup ever an essential? For me, yes. I use makeup almost every day and find it really boosts my confidence and self esteem.

So, lets get into it.

Jeffree Star Blood Sugar Palette c

I have been trying to convince myself for over a year now that I do not need this palette, when I say trying, I mean failing. This palette is stunning and the more looks I see with it the more I want it. I probably have all of the colours in my collection but I strongly believe the formula on the Jeffree one is going to make this a worthwhile and well used purchase. As soon as a restock comes along, your girl will be trying to get her hands on this one. 

Revolution Skincare

The Revolution Skincare range has been out for some time now and I've been curious but my routine works well for me so I've been reluctant to change it up. But I've seen way too many good reviews of the range to pass up trying something out. Revolution also just added a face mask line to the skin care range and they look STUNNING honey, so you know I'm all over those on pay day.

Revolution Maxi Reloaded Palettes 

So I was scrolling through Instagram the other day when I noticed that the creative team over at Revolution had posted another one of their sneak peaks. They post these regularly and I love Revolution as a brand so I like to keep an eye on their Instagram page to check out whats new and fresh. I spotted the image posted above teasing whatever is in the little green pot (which I probably also want) but the part of the image that interests me is the palettes being previewed in the background. I adore the Revolution Reloaded palettes, they are so pigmented, blend beautifully and are amazing value. So I am stoked and cannot wait to get my hand on the maxi version when they are released. The colour stories in the ones previewed are beautiful and so the type of scheme I usually go for. 

MAC Strip Down Lipstick 

Okay, I may not be MAC Cosmetics biggest fan, but I know their lipstick formula is consistently bomb across the board. This new(ish) release is exciting to me, I've never managed to find my 'perfect' nude lipstick. I have a lot of nude tone lipsticks I love and I feel suit me, but never managed to find what you might call the one. My skins undertones are strange and I always end up with a nude that is too warm toned, too cool or just too pink. As you know, your girl is ginger so pink lipstick isn't exactly something I'm down for. I've been hoping that with this new release of a whole new range of nudes designed to help everyone find the nude for them, there might even be one that would work for me buried in there. Next time I am somewhere nearby to a MAC store I may find myself wandering in to check it out. 

LA Girl Pro Matte Foundation

I have a few products from LA Girl and I really like all the things I've tried from them. One of my favourite products from them is their Pro Conceal HD Concealer which I love. I believe its one of the best drugstore concealers I've ever tried and I highly recommend it to anyone. Having said that, I'm due to try a new foundation when I run out of my current. I love the foundation I've been using but I fancy trying something new so I've got my eye on the foundation that matches their concealer. The price point is totally reasonable, their products are usually good quality and like I said I want to try something new.

So that's the end of my current wish list of things I've been looking at.
